This is a presentation based upon the faithfulness of Daniel in the arena of appetite and the blessings that God then lavished upon he and his 3 companions. Then we survey the Spirit of Prophecy in regards to items of diet that should be eliminated and ask the question, “Will we we Daniels in these last days, willing to be faithful to God in the are of appetite so that He can help us to be fit for His coming?”

This presentation was done for the Morvant SDA Church’s AY program on the afternoon of Nov. 20, 2010. We met at Fort George, overlooking Port of Spain and the western peninsula of Trinidad. Because of rain, the program didn’t start on time, and we had to be done by sunset, as they closed the fort at that time. Instead of doing the program I had prepared, I just talked frankly with the people there about health and salvation, admonishing them to start living now for the Kingdom.
WELLNESS From the 23rd Psalm

LeEtta presented this for the Sabbath School program at the Talparo SDA Church, Nov 27, 2010. The principles of WELLNESS can all be found in the 23rd Psalm. I am just amazed at the depth of meaning one can draw from this simple, short Psalm. Check it out for yourself. LeEtta would like to point out a few corrections: first, she mentioned that we need to limit dairy products. The reality is that we are in a day and age that dairy products cannot be used without negative effects on the health. second, she quoted Colossians 3:17, but stated that it was Colossians 3:20. The correct verse was Colossians 3:17.

This was presented at the Talparo SDA Church for the sermon on Nov 27, 2010. This sermon is about God’s grace, our response of faith and how the two work together for salvation, and then how diet/health interacts with and interplays with our faith relationship with Christ, and the implications of being unfaithful in this arena of our lives.
